MACHINE OPERATOR

Our client is looking to add high quality individuals to their team of machine operators. This is a Direct Hire position.

Shift: 3rd shift Sun - Thurs 11-7

Pay: $16.80/hour

Job description:

Be able to operate varies lines, machines and production lines.
Follows standard processes, and practices safe work habits to ensure that production is as efficient and safe as possible. Performs general tasks in the area such as boxing, filling, labeling, and cleaning. Communicates respectfully and honestly to others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All Operators are expected to be available to work in all areas of production or distribution, and are expected to operate equipment on the following lines at least 50% of their hours worked.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. QUANTITATIVE SKILLS:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to train others in general manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and ability to cooperate and work within a team concept
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) various types of machinery.
