Shift/Hours: 1st shift, Mon - Fri, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $18-$22/hour

Job Description
The Industrial Coating – Final Assembly Specialist plays a crucial role in creating a competitive advantage for our customers through production of world-class equipment, within allotted time constraints, that meets the stringent quality and delivery requirements of MPS and our customers.

This position reports to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
• All Teammates are accountable for their ownership of safety and to encourage safety program compliance with all coworkers.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations as well as attending all required safety-related training sessions.
• Prepare equipment and apply industrial coatings per established standards to meet finish specifications.
• Label and/or decal all equipment in accordance with the finish and safety specifications prior to shipment.
• Maintain all appropriate maintenance, repair and purchase records for the equipment utilized in the industrial coating and decaling process.
• Maintain and clean coating equipment (including the paint booth) by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Assist the Procurement Team with coating consumables by communicating stock status.
• Following standard practices for inspection and commissioning of equipment, work individually and with others on the final assembly process of machines as necessary to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Interface with the sales, project management and engineering teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal sales, project management and engineering teams as well as with other members of the production team.
• Willingness to work overtime hours as dictated by the project or customer’s needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
