Our client is looking to add some machine operators to their fast growing team.

Shift/Hours: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 5AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $16-$18 based on experience

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions


• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations, as well as attending all required safety-related training sessions. Accountable for ownership of safety and encouragement of safety program compliance with all teammates.

• Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, operating and maintaining a computer numerical control (CNC) high-definition plasma burn table.

• Load the table by safely picking stock, lifting stock and placing stock on the table. Maximum sheet size 96” x 240”.

• Machine components to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders and other machining equipment. Measure, examine and test completed components to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers.

• A key responsibility for this role will be maintaining all metal cutting/bending equipment and steel stock. This includes cutting/bending all material for projects and delivering on time to the fabricators. Responsibilities will also include ensuring the stock quantity levels of all steel is
accurate through communication with the Supply Chain Management Group and weekly inventory cycle counts. Maintaining the cleanliness of the area and ensuring all steel racks are properly labeled and steel is stocked in the correct locations is also critical.

• Set up and operate equipment and hand tools including but not limited to: blade press, drill press, miter saw, pneumatic nailer/stapler, and circular saw.

• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
