Position Summary: The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the warehouse with clerical support, general communication, and processing/tracking of paperwork. This position is a part-time position, offering 20-25 hours per week. Position Requirements: Education • Associates degree and/or relevant warehouse/admin experience Knowledge/Skills • Proven ability to be flexible and work collaboratively as part of a team • Understanding of computers and various word processing software • Excellent organizational and customer service skills Essential Functions: Operations: • File delivery/pick-up sheets; file vendor maintenance information • Track number of cases picked, delivery shortages, and Fresh Food poundage • Create count sheets daily for inventory, cycle counts • Prepare all documentation for entry into Ceres and complete item adjustments • Assist operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Associates • Stay informed and updated on all current inventory, and assist in year-end inventory • Provide support to both the Warehouse and Transportation departments with updating of forms and polices • Schedule, receive and process all inbound product; maintain all appropriate paperwork for incoming and outgoing product Partner Agencies: • Take all inbound product phone calls, and schedule deliveries as appropriate • Stay informed about Food Bank member agencies and community services Systems: • Enter entry document data into Ceres in a timely and accurate manner • Enter Fresh Food, donation and Grocery Rescue information into Ceres • Enter all Food$ense information into Microsoft Access, monthly; Create orders and print pick sheets during Food$ense week • Receive inventory into Ceres, create donor and item cards, if necessary, in a timely manner
