Service/repair Technicians needed for a high tech instrumentation manufacturer!



The Service Support Technician I is an entry level position that will perform in-house servicing and repair of company products.




  • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
  • Serve as the customer contact on technical and service related problems.
  • Using established procedures, diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures.
  • Determine most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
  • Other projects, tasks and jobs as assigned.

Job Requirements



  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must be adept at troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry to a modular level.
  • Able to interpret test procedures and specifications.
  • Experience in servicing RF and digital electronic products needed.
  • Ability to work with hand tools.
  • Familiarity with SPC/defect charting and problem solving techniques preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess MS Office and computer skills.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work and requires supervision.  However, once given direction has the ability to work independently.
