Facilities Maintenance

The ideal candidate will have variety of facilities maintenance - experience with building and maintenance systems, as well as a solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheet-rocking, cooling/heating, painting, snow removal, and other general maintenance skills. Candidate must have the ability to work well with other people in a team environment. Good organization and multi-tasking skills are a must. He/She will be able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks or projects in a timely manner. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs preventive maintenance duties. • Maintains written records, time sheets and daily work sheets. • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality. • Conduct periodic checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. • Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry. • Clean and assist with the upkeep of facilities and equipment • Upkeep of grounds, including lawn care and snow and ice removal. • Perform other duties and assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: • Good organizational skills with attention to detail a must • Solid math skills especially accuracy with numbers • Must be a team player that works well with all departments and management in the facility. • Works well independently with minimum supervision. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. • Safety equipment required on the job while in production environment includes: safety glasses, hard sole shoes, earplugs, gloves, and hairnet (beard-net if necessary). • Assignments may be changed with little advanced notice. • Supply his/her own general hand tools. • Adheres to company policies, procedures and safety standards. Education and or Experience: High school diplom
