Industry leader in central Omaha, NE is looking for Mechanical Assemblers for multiple departments!

Mechanical Assembler Job Duties:

  • Ready and interpret drawings, sketches, and engineering drawings
  • Assemble various types of machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and power transmission components
  • Set up and test run assembled units
  • Work with bills of material
  • Draw on basic math skills to include fractions and decimals
  • Use variety of hand tools
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, obeying all safety rules and regulations.

First shift hours are available from 6:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. Starting wages range from $15-17 an hour for this mechanical assembler position.

Job Requirements

  • Bend and Stoop consistently during the day
  • Lift and/or Carry up to 40 pounds or more if required during your shift
  • Work around dust and wear a respirator, if required
  • Wear proper safety equipment (hard hats, goggles, glasses, weight-belts, etc.)
  • Reach over your head with 10-30 pound loads regularly during your shift, if required
  • Grip, grasp, or twist using your hand and wrists regularly during your shift
  • Read, understand and follow Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
