Responsible for sales commission plan accounting, reporting and system administration. Rote will work directly with Finance, Human Resources and Sales Operations to improve process and controls. Position will also interface directly with Sales Account Executives to forecast and analyze commissions.
Accountable for accurate commission calculations, commission reporting and commission accounting.
Creates programming rules in Xactly (commission software) to ensure commissions are calculated accurately and according to commission plans.
Researches, troubleshoots and resolves Xactly system problems to ensure accurate data flow to our accounting system.
Point of contact for Xactly system changes, user administration, system updates and training of new sales account executives on the system.
Research and respond to any commission inquiries, disputes and interface with sales executives on exception requests.
Provides management reports and analysis of commission data, gross profit rankings, revenue attainment and other related queries.
Recommends and implements system/process enhancements and modifications to meet changing business needs.
Various daily and month end accounting responsibilities as directed including G/L maintenance, G/L entries, reconciliations and reporting.
May also assist in budget preparation and analysis. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of finance and accounting principles (GAAP)
