IMMEDIATE 1ST SHIFT TEMP-TO-HIRE
MANUFACTURING OPENING IN DES MOINES!
Work half day on Fridays! We have immediate temp-to-hire openings. These are manufacturing/assembly positions making cold storage systems such as deli, floral, and wine cases.
Pay: $14.00 /Hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-5:00pm. Friday 8:00am-Noon
(Leave at Noon on Fridays if you have 40 hours in or stay for Over Time!)
Duties:
- Measure, cut and assemble wood, sheet metal, wiring or glass products
- Work with basic hand tools; hammer, screw drivers & tape measure
- Work with power tools; table saws, nail guns and drills
- Working in a team environment to assemble products
- Ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems
- Ability to read or learn to read blue prints and schematics
- Ability to lift, push, pull 30+ pound on a constant basis
- Ability to push, pull & lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Ability to measure correctly to an 8th of an inch and make precision cuts
- Previous construction or building experience( framing, rough or finish carpentry) is strongly preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and steel toed boots.
