Foreman - Civil Services is the first supervisory tier above Civil Services Technician and reports to a Project Manager. This position is the face of our company and provides the deliverable to our customers at a high standard to ensure customer satisfaction. The Foreman - Civil Services will lead a crew(s) and must have good interpersonal communication skills, as well as skills performing basic construction, electrical, and mechanical work.

This position must assist with the work schedule to minimize downtime and assign workers as necessary to meet project deadlines. This position is responsible for job pre-planning and ensuring all inventory, job materials, manpower, and external resources are adequate and available for the project. Prepares progress reports, schedules downtime, or provides estimates of production output and communicates with Project Managers for project timeline updates.

This position ensures workers obey all safety regulations, communicates safety procedures, and provides safety training as needed. Inspects work environment or equipment to verify no hazards exist. Ensures JHA's are performed and submitted per company requirements.

Maintains professionalism from office to field. Provides on-the-job training to crew as needed. Provides input on new hires, discharges, raises, and promotions.

This position requires experience with smart phones and iPads for timekeeping submission and picture submission, as well as navigating basic software for task completion updates. This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Outlook email and basic internet skills.

This position is Hourly, Non-Exempt, and is eligible for overtime. Travel is required for this position. Wage range for Foreman - Civil Services is based upon skills and experience.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires experience with smart phones and iPads for timekeeping submission and picture submission, as well as navigating basic software for task completion updates.
  • This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Outlook email and basic internet skills.
  • The applicant must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen. Random drug screening is performed to meet our company safety standards. Following Safety Rules and Protocols is required. Our Client is a fast-paced company that requires a Can-Do attitude from its employees.
