A sign manufacturing company is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team!
This position will be responsible for assembling different components and/or parts of semi-finished signs or finished product and to test sign components to prepare for installation and/or shipping.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Ability to read and understand detailed assembly instructions from shop drawings and/or blueprints to gather information regarding parts, fixtures and tools needed for sign assembly
- Receive unfinished custom and standard signage from various departments and electrically assemble
-Assemble products using the companies shop drawing under their guidelines of their program
-Record and report materials used for each job for inventory control
-Understand and follow safety and quality control procedures
- HS diploma/GED and/or 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing and production environments is required
-Knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical components is a must
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, shop drawings and layouts
