Our client is looking for a F/T administrative Assistant/Human Resources Assistant. This position is located in Ankeny. #wegetpeople
Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Provide customer service to employees by answering questions regarding policies, procedures and benefits and directing them to the appropriate resource for additional assistance.
Maintain personnel and training files including applicable filing.
Coordinate recruitment for entry level positions which may include direct hires or the placement of temporary employees (i.e., applicant sourcing & tracking; testing; interview scheduling; reference checking).
Assist with the process of employee on-boarding & terminations related payroll and to benefits including COBRA continuation.
Assist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Track employee training within HRIS system.
Assist with company function coordination including service awards, company parties, and charitable fundraisers.
Assist with employee recognition program and documentation.
A degree in human resource preferred with one-year related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills – the candidate must be able to establish priorities, and deadlines.
Enjoy working with a wide range of personalities.
Proficiency in administrative programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a highly discreet manner.
Must have reliable transportation, will be running errands and picking up supplies when needed.
