We are looking for an amazing customer service person with strong administrative skills and a desire to be part of our Temporary Election Support Team at the Bonita Springs Election Center. This is a temporary Administrative / Customer Service position that will begging around October 29th, 2019 and continue through the second week of November 2020.  We are looking for someone available to work Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 5’sh who is also available to work some evenings and weekends if needed (FULL DISCLOSURE - some evenings and weekends may be required as the 2020 election gets closer). Temporary Election Support Team Members will start at the Main Office - Down Town Fort Myers for 1-2 weeks of training then will transfer to the Bonita Springs Branch.   

 Minimum Requirement:

  • Person must have a minimum of two yeas of Administrative / Customer Service experience in an office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer / data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person is a MUST.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi task while providing the highest level of customer service
  • Available to work a full time with overtime when needed (available to work some evenings and weekends) 
  • Bilingual is plus but not necessary

 

**Temporary Election Support Staff Members must be registered or willing / able to become registered to Vote in Lee County by start date. This position will require a pre – employment background check and drug screening.

Part-Time Tumbling/Cheer Instructor (20hrs per week)

A local community center is in search of a part-time tumbling/cheer instructor to teach basic tumbling and cheer skills such as handstands, bridges kick-overs, back-walkovers, front-walkovers, cartwheels, and round offs as well as strength and conditioning.  Additionally this position may have the option to coach a half-year prep/rec cheer team.

 The candidate will be to organize/schedule practices, teach routines and help athletes learn safe techniques, instruct students on healthy stretching, lifting and jumping, and tumbling techniques.  Instructor will work with children ages 4-16. Candidate must have the ability to work with children.

Job Duties Include:

  • Plan and develop new related programs and services.
  • Assist with marketing and recruitment of program
  • Prepares lesson plans for sessions
  • Attends meetings pertinent to his or her position.
  • Incorporate virtue and character education into all classes that are developmentally appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate accounting of attendance in all classes.
  • Monitor gymnastics equipment for safety, maintenance, and replacement needs.
  • Fill out accident reports if necessary.
  • Help train and orient new staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • One year related experience working with children in recreational gymnastics, cheerleading, dance or any combination in an instructional setting.
  • CPR/First Aid (required within 6 months after hire)
  • Level II Background Screening
