Fabrication Group Leader
$24.00 per hour, direct hire
•Coaches and trains fabrication associates on the proper execution of duties by providing general guidance, training, and technical assistance.
•Exhibits detailed knowledge of all fabrication machines and duties. (Brake Press, Saw, Iron Worker, Punch Press, Plasma and Torch Cutting, etc.)
•Use work orders and prints to identify needed materials and machine setup requirements to complete customer orders on-time
•Examine 1st off work piece visually, by touch, and measurement with calipers or other gauges to ensure product meets standards.
•Opens and closes shop as needed
•Contributes to employee’s professional development
•Associate Degree in Manufacturing or Welding Technology from an accredited trade school
•10+ Years in the custom or contract manufacturing welding industry
•5 years’ experience in supervisory role
•Candidates with Excel computer skills are preferred
•Must be able to read prints and knowledgeable in weld symbols
