What You Will Do: As a maintenance person for our client in Chesapeake, VA, you will be responsible for all preventative, predictive and demanded maintenance work as needed.
Daily, you would be doing maintenance and repairing on machinery equipment, the interior and exterior of the building, as well as electrical, pneumatic and plumbing systems.
You would also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems in automated manufacturing machines.

What You Will Need:
We would like you to have a minimum of 5 years; experience in the field of general repairs and at least 1-year experience with manufacturing/converting machinery and automated manufacturing systems as well as electrical/electronic repair. Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides that would be great also. Production environment a plus.
You will also be required to be able to read and understand blue prints and schematics as well as experience with PLC’s.
A positive work ethic and a willingness to learn from others and help others are some great attributes to have too.
