Job Description: CNC Mill Operator: Set-up and operate mills as needed. Must be able to make own adjustments/off-sets, take corrective action where necessary to achieve job and quality requirements. Must be a professional with strong workmanship skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
1) Set-up and operate all Mills/Equipment through the production department- not limited to choosing and loading appropriate tools and fixtures to job needs.
2) Run programs, perform measurements, make adjustments as necessary, and deburr parts per the approved process so the product meets customer specifications/standards.
3) Work with quality department to achieve high quality product completing first piece inspection and documentation as needed.
3-5 yrs prior CNC experience.
Ability to program using G & M code, experience of Mastercam an advantage.
Able to use tools of the trade: clamps, jigs, fixtures & vices etc…
Ability to read blueprints, specifications and quality plans- and maintain documentation.
Capable of organizing to and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work standing, bending, lifting and carrying 35lbs.
