The Area Sales Manager has overall responsibility generating new clients and expanding existing clients for the Branch(s). They are responsible for generating leads of local and national companies that utilize contingent staffing. They are also responsible for developing client relationships that will enhance our service offering to the clients. The Area Sales Manager will prospect through in person cold calling, telemarketing, networking and researching prospective clients as well as participating in community events The Participate in Business Plan reporting in conjunction with Senior Management and performs business development activities to achieve the plan. Develops and maintains a high level of name awareness through advertising, public relations activities, recruiting, and client development. They participate in all financial aspects of the Branch operations to ensure the Business Plan goals: GM$, GM%, client base, development of major accounts, and On-Site Operations goals, and controlling branch expenses. They participate in National Sales training as well as developing local accounts that have a National footprint. They help ensure cooperation and support with sister branches within their Franchise as with other divisions and Corporate.
