Administrative / Accounting support

We are looking for an organized, self-motivated Administrator with a basic understanding accounting and QuickBooks to fill an entry to mid-level administrative support role at a busy electric company. This is a front office position that works closely with the Accounting and Operations so flexibility strong computers skills, excellent customer service and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail are a must. Two – five years of construction, service or electrical industry experience is a plus.

Job Duties

  • Enter work orders, purchase orders, invoices, inventory and bills into QuickBooks
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to help resolve invoice issues
  • Assist with permitting process and work orders as needed
  • Maintain project, vendor and client files
  • Basic Reporting as needed
  • Great customers, answer multiple phone lines, transfer calls and take accurate messages
  • Collect, sort and deliver mail to appropriate departments

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-5 years of administrative or accounting experience in construction, electric or related industry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of QuickBooks
  • Strong Typing and Data Entry Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple line phones
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bilingual a plus but not necessary
