A law firm in the Buffalo area is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work closely with attorneys to prepare marketing materials and perform additional administrative functions.



  • Assist in preparing marketing materials  including brochures, attorney biographies, newsletters, etc.
  • Tracking and assisting in the coordination of firm sponsorships and charitable contributions
  • Preparing attendee and invitation lists, coordinating invitation process, reviewing and research venues, and preparing for and attend events
  • Assisting with website maintenance, newsletter development, and client alert design and distribution
  • Writing copy and format sponsorship ads
  • Assisting in the creation of mail lists
  • Updating data in spreadsheets
  • Sourcing, ordering and overseeing promotional marketing items
  • Providing additional administrative assistance to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, and attorneys as needed

Job Requirements


  • 3 or more years of professional experience in a marketing/communications role (preferably in a legal setting)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to handle changing project criteria, multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with graphic design (InDesign) and Constant Contact
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat required
