General Statement/Purpose of Job: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the material handling processes and inventory accuracy within an area of the warehouse. Required to follow the warehouse schedule and work directly with the warehouse supervisor in order to achieve daily goals, measured by safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics. The Warehouse Lead is the interface between a warehouse area and the rest of the department and/or other departments and gives direction to all members of the warehouse team within the area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment • Maintain an attitude that supports company policies and goals • Provide feedback to management regarding warehouse and associates’ performance • Participate in and initiate continuous improvement activities • Establish and Maintain Organization of Warehouse in accordance with a collaboration between the team and the supervisor • Monitor and Ensure Compliance to Material Handling Processes: o Receiving (Labeling, quantity check, putting away, verification, communication) o Inventory Movements/Transfers o Part Picking/Issuing o Paint/Powder Coat o Material Constraints o Non-Conforming Material • Check and Audit Inventory for Accuracy: o Audit Bin Locations o Cycle Count Process • Investigate Inventory Discrepancies and Report Root Causes to Supervisor •

Direct Responsibilities of warehouse team members to maximize productivity and attain daily goals • Work within the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Warehouse to generate improvements to meet and exceed company goals • Establish and Maintain a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Warehouse department • Follow Standard Work structure for execution of daily, weekly, monthly responsibilities • Communicate quickly and accurately as needed with other departments and through email if necessary • Responsible for shutting down and closing the building/warehouse areas as applicable.
