Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Customer Accounts Clerk position at a large manufacturing facility, located in Akron, NY. This position offers opportunity for growth for diligent, motivated candidates!

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $14.00 hourly, based on experience

Job Description:

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to efficiently calculate numbers to post payments & maneuver between multiple windows with ease.
• Proficient with MS office
• Previous Customer Service experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
