Description

The Client Solutions Specialist is responsible for selling contract, temporary-to-permanent, and permanent staffing services to companies in the assigned territory by generating job orders, servicing client needs and seeking new business opportunities.  The Client Solutions Specialist shows our clients why Remedy is the leading edge contingent workforce provider in the manufacturing/advanced manufacturing category by:

 

  • Creating and building client partnerships by understanding their business, providing extra mile service and suggesting solutions that fit their needs
  • Developing sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and close new business relationships including prospecting, cold calling  and maintaining a designated average of outbound calls per day
  • Conduct face to face meetings and create and deliver sales and marketing campaigns
  • Create customer loyalty by building relationships with current clients, anticipating their needs and maintaining frequent contact
  • Being alert for and reporting changes in market conditions, competitive activities, and customer preference/needs
  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Achieve sales quotas and goals
  • Actively participating in business and community networking events

Job Requirements

The candidate must be able to perform the following essential functions and meet the following physical demands in order to be successful in this position.  Reasonable accommodations can be made in order to meet these requirements, if necessary.  Essential functions and physical demands include, but are not limited to, the ability to:

 

  • Sit at a desk on a computer for long periods of time, possibly for 4-6 hours at a time
  • Type on a computer, read, and write, for hours at a time
  • Speak on the phone

  • Travel to prospective Clients to create new sales opportunities and to current Clients within the market he or she covers to analyze facilities, working conditions, etc., and to deliver monthly Client Drops
  • Stand for short periods of time and walk short distances, specifically when making visits to prospective and current Clients that are located within the market he or she covers
  • Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, hold, and carry objects
  • Lift and/or move objects of up to 10 pounds
  • Lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or kneel as necessary
  • Reach with arms
  • Climb, balance, or stoop
  • Lift and/or move objects of up to 50 pounds

 

The work environment is an office setting.  The position requires the use of office equipment, such as a computer, a work cell phone (in some cases), a desk phone, a printer, and other office supplies.  The successful candidate must be comfortable with working in a loud and busy environment, as well as with traveling daily to Clients within the market that he or she covers.  He or she is not exposed to any dangerous machinery and equipment, unless he or she travels to visit a Client’s facility, to deliver Client Drops, to speak with employees at the facility about the Client’s staffing needs, to analyze the facility, working conditions, etc., or to shadow one of the Client Engagement Managers at a Client’s facility.

 

Qualifications

 

 The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Customer service and/or account management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, and high pressure environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in MS Office including Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to be self-sufficient in daily tasks, while working as part of a team
  • Prior staffing industry experience is a plus
