CNC Programmer Needed
Under direct supervision, the CNC Programmer is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout and machining procedures. This individual will also use his/her machining expertise to support multiple departments as necessary. The CNC Programmer may work with management and production engineers to ensure that timelines as well as quality goals are met.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
A Bachelor's or technical degree and four plus years of experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of G-Code, conversational and other programming languages is required.
Familiarity with Fanuc, Fadal, and Okuma machines is preferred.
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sketches, and understand measuring instruments PartMaker experience preferred.
Must possess a clear understanding of advanced math (including trigonometry and algebra) and have the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
