Hours: 1:30 pm - 10 pm; after training tentatively 9:00 pm - 5:00 am
Job Description Set up, changeover, and operate Fabrication Systems.
Initiate system changeovers through computerized process control system.
Remove and replace die sets.
Set up accessory equipment, presses, forming and mechanized stacking equipment.
Load material; monitor and ensure proper operation of all systems, i.e. lubrication etc. Interface with process controls and diagnostic software; input and log data as required.
Diagnose set up and operational problems visually and through process controls; make adjustments as required. Operate press and check parts against drawings (prints).
Ensure that all safety devices are operational and that all safety practices are followed. Perform related duties.
Must be able to demonstrate blueprint, scale and caliper usage. Must pass a HMI (human machine interface) test to demonstrate ability to maneuver throughout the screens.
Must have demonstrated performance and ability on machine processes with an aptitude for mechanical/electrical functions, including experience in a setup position requiring setup and changeovers (tooling adjustments/changes and tooling awareness) typically TR 24 or above setup experience or 12 months experience as TR19
Set Up B Unitary Sheet Metal.
Must be receptive to various training programs which may be conducted off-site at times.
Critical thinking and decision-making skills required.
Will consider experience running a CNC machine. EXTERNAL EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED.
Qualified applicants who successfully demonstrate navigation skills in a HMI simulation will be interviewed regarding the above qualification requirements.
