1st Shift (Monday through Friday, some Saturdays and some overtime during the week)

Starting- $14-$15/hr. (depending on experience)

Temp to Perm Responsible for fabrication and assembly of mechanical or electrical assemblies. Work with a range of tools and machines from wire crimping to soldering. Assembles units by following drawings, procedures, manufacturing instruction operation sheets, BOM's and ECN's.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to Quality Management System policies and procedures as applicable (ie:ENP-004, 007, QUP-006, 007, 011, 012, PUP-OOI, PLI-004

• Read drawings, Operation Inspection sheets, Work Instructions

• Crimp, solder, press, clamp, and weld parts and components

• Requisition tools and fixtures if necessary 

• Inspect and test work

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems

• Transport assemblies to shipping area

• Measure and cut parts to various lengths. Parts include wires, shrink tubing, and cables. Get work assignments from Production Manager

• Tin Conductors using flux and solder pot. Bend resistors and components using hand bender, hand tools, power tools, and presses

• Build first article of simple production assemblies and subassemblies

• Build electromechanical subassemblies

• Strip, crimp and solder wires and components using hand tools, and power tools.

Equipment Used • All hand tools, Most power tools, pneumatic tooling • Computer • Wire processors • High voltage test equipment • Soldering irons, solder pots, heat guns • Test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes), terminal applicator presses
