Description

Responsible to provide technical assistance on a broad range of computer and network technologies. Assist end-users with technical issues via telephone, email, onsite visit, and remote access. Respond to support tickets, maintain inventory, resolve routine and occasionally complex technical issues across multiple layers of the infrastructure, perform user on-boarding in various systems, assist in implementing software and hardware solutions, and assist with basic analysis and coordination of technical projects. 

Pay is $18.50-$20.00 based on experience 

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience operating in manufacturing environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • A team player with a high level of customer service and a positive attitude under pressure
  • Support PCs/laptops and related peripheral equipment in the Camden plant
  • Support installation and maintenance of GEA PC based standard/supported OS, Enterprise SW and other approved software to support business requirements
  • Plan and operate under a continuous integration and continuous deployment strategy
  • Work closely with service desk, local FIS and IT team to handle user's requests
  • Printer support - desktop, laser, multi function, network printer, zebra brand and other label printers
  • Act as hands & feet on the ground for server support team and network support team
  • Support wifi access points. wireless devices, hand held radios, and new network build outs (under guidance of network architect)
  • Support plant access control and video surveillance systems
  • Support iOS, Android, and Windows tablet devices in the plants
  • Act as liaison between site and third-party software providers in support of special software
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of stationary and/or handheld bar code scanners
  • Must be reachable via cellphone with voice, emails, and text capability, as well as other identified collaboration software
  • Running cables, relocating computers and equipment using dollies, carts and organizing IT storage areas
  • Employee collaboration and knowledge sharing between individuals and FIS team members
  • Participating in projects and support during early morning , evening and weekend hours as needed 
  • Must execute all assigned tickets, tasks and projects quickly and efficiently, update ticket system and manager daily and follow-up on all items after completion to verify is resolved
  • Ability to lift workstations, servers and other equipment up to 50lbs ad physically set up equipment throughout the plant where needed
