Description

The Staffing Assistant position works closely with the hiring managers to assist in the hiring selection process to find the most qualified candidates for job openings.

Essential Functions:       

  • This position is responsible for managing job posting completion.
  • Responsible for posting positions internally and externally for assigned locations as well as posting on state job sites.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the hiring managers regarding job postings.
  • Managing  applicant database; reviewing applications and preparing interview documents.
  • Helping to ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Helping in tracking recruitment efforts within the company.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding the online application system.
  • Answering HR phones.
  • Searching for job fairs/recruitment opportunities for Platt locations.

Job Requirements

Database management experience is required.

Experience with applicant tracking system required.one year of administrative, clerical or record-keeping support experience is required.

This position requires experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

The individual must be able to function independently in a busy environment, manage multiple tasks and must be able to work within deadlines.

Must be a team player and must be able to work in a team environment; be self-motivated, dependable and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Must be detail oriented and highly organized.

Basic knowledge of employment law preferred.
