Business Analyst / Supply Chain Management in Lexington KY

Responsibilities

Monitor, track, correct and report inventory transaction errors
Monitor inventory trends and identify financial risks and opportunities with inventory
Establish or improve current process flows to enhance inventory transaction accuracy
Analyze inventory structure, recommend and support actions to improve inventory turnover
Lead initiatives related to inventory waste reduction, supplier recovery, FIFO, E&O, etc.
Support weekly/monthly cycle counting and year end physical inventory processes
Support cost accounting and standard costing activities
Support projects that optimize the total costs for warehousing, logistics, transportation and purchases.
Support monthly accounting closing processes
Support the new ERP system implementation for both Manufacturing and Distribution
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business
Prior experience in Manufacturing or Operations environment is required
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Inventory Management/Supply Chain/Cost Accounting roles
Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with broad, cross-functional business partners
Microsoft Dynamic AX experience required
