Position: Senior Research and Data Analyst
Location: Honolulu. Hybrid – must be able to work in-office for part of the week.
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Research & Data Analyst to lead the design, execution, and delivery of advanced research, analytics, and data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. This role combines quantitative analysis, research leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable findings for senior leadership and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a highly analytical, fast-paced, and occasionally ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of research studies, surveys, and analytical projects across customer, market, program, or operational domains
- Collect, cleanse, validate, and analyze large, multi-source datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Develop forecasting models, statistical analyses, and evaluation frameworks to support strategic initiatives and program effectiveness
- Manage and optimize research tools, data systems, and dashboards to improve efficiency and insight generation
- Present findings through high-quality written reports, data visualizations, and executive-level presentations
- Mentor and guide analysts in research design, analytical methods, data interpretation, and presentation standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to conduct surveys, focus groups, and other research efforts
- Explore and apply emerging digital tools, including automation and AI-assisted analytics, to enhance research capabilities
- Respond to data requests and reporting requirements with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as statistics, economics, finance, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline
- Advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience leading research, analytics, or data-driven projects
- Strong background in applied statistics, quantitative methods, and data analysis
- Extensive experience working with large datasets and relational databases
- Proficiency with analytical and reporting tools (e.g., spreadsheets, statistical software, BI tools, databases)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
