Job Opening: Calibration Technician

Remedy Staffing is looking for a Calibration Technician to fill a role at Manth-Brownell in Kirkville, NY!

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Days: Monday – Thursday

Pay: $18.00 – 20.00 DOE

Location: Kirkville, NY

Job Duties May Include:

Assure proper gauging is available, calibrated, and on the production floor in a timely manner.

Perform gauge calibrations, cleaning, and repairs.

Maintain all gauge inventory.

Ability to order new gauging to meet production requirements.

Assemble gauge pans for production runs, break down gauge pans upon return, verify all gauges are accounted for and are in good working order.

Coordinate gage procurement/manufacture/revision through quality engineers and the engineering department.

Perform quality system audits.

Assist production with the use of special gauging equipment and assist Quality Technicians.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math skills.

Must be able to read and understand blue prints, inspection plans, and follow instructions.

Must have ability to use, interpret, calibrate, and perform simple repairs on precision measuring gauges.

Experience Required:

1-3 years of experience with precision measuring instruments in a similar industry are required.
