Job Opening: Production Associates

Remedy Staffing is excited to partner with local food manufacturing companies to offer Production positions to qualified candidates. We have SEVERAL openings on various shifts and these are temp-to-hire opportunities for the right candidate!

Shift/Hours vary depending on schedule. Discuss during interview.

Pay: up to $16.50/hour

Job Duties:

• Assist employer with production duties in various capacities, including, but not limited to: packaging, material handling, assembly-line operations, palettizing finished goods, quality checks, etc.

• Use provided tools to complete tasks such as hand bottling and hand bagging raw material.

• Accurately pack and ensure proper placement of product in boxes

• Learn and understand how to operate machinery, including material handling, packaging, and processing equipment. 

• Assist machine operators, forklift operators, maintenance, etc. with production needs.

• Visually inspect materials and supplies for defects. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.

• Complete necessary documentation, including worksheets and computerized tracking systems for each product.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift and push/pull to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required
• Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
• Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
• Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
