Are you passionate about food production and want to be part of something bigger? Remedy Staffing is looking for a Butter Maker to join the team at a local creamery! 

Pay: $22.00/hr

Shift: 5pm-5am Mon & Tues, every other Fri, Sat, and Sun

Job Duties of a Butter Maker:

• Inventory and verify cream and buttermilk levels; monitor vessel temperatures.

• Sanitize and inspect equipment before production.

• Operate touch-screen interfaces for cream and buttermilk transfers.

• Churn butter to meet specified grade and quality standards.

• Conduct quality control tests, including moisture, butterfat, flavor, odor, and color analysis.

• Maintain production records in both physical and digital formats.

• Detect and report malfunctions or quality concerns.

• Operate CIP (Clean-in-Place) system and handle sanitation chemicals safely.

• Assist with butter packaging, labeling, and preparing for shipping.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality assurance protocols.

• Butter Maker’s and Butter Grader’s licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience in dairy or food processing preferred.

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly, up to 80 lbs with assistance, and push/pull up to 2,500 lbs.

• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.

• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and work ethic.
