Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and machinery in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and adjust production processes to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
- Document production activities accurately, including batch records and inventory levels.
- Assist in the training of new operators and provide ongoing support to team members as required.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, collaborating with supervisors to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- Previous machine operating experience, preferably operating a tablet press machine.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Basic understanding of production processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
