Pay: $21+ Base on exp – (will include shift premium)
Shift: 3rd
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sandblast parts per instructions on Batch Line Sheet
- Understands how to effectively blast parts of different size, weight, and geometry to internal and customer standards.
- Logs jobs in manufacturing software.
- Reads and understands batch sheet instructions and basic blueprint reading.
- Records correct quality records.
- Keeps batch area organized and clean.
- Operates company forklift with certification.
- Ability to work with limited supervision while meeting productions rates and quality standards.
- Package parts per batch sheet instructions.
- Operates and understands pressure washing system to effectively wash iron phosphate parts for proper adhesion.
- Reads and understands paint inspection equipment including film gauges, delta e-meter, gloss meter, and completes visual inspection of parts.
- Works with supervision to schedule upcoming jobs in the batch area.
- Works in other areas of paint department as needed.
- Uses safe and proper techniques in moving and hanging large and small parts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
