Heavy Forklift experience of at least two years. Working outside in the warehouse yard, securing freight to ocean equipment for export and unloading import freight from ocean equipment. Use of chains/binders strapping materials, tape measure and power tools such as nail guns and saws Duties also include cleaning off and out ocean equipment as well as the work area. Attention to detail and careful handling of customer freight is a must Must be able to follow directions, work independently as well as a team/tandem operation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of Forklift Safety Guidelines.
• Rigging experience.
• Strapping experience.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, bend, and reach.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Meet production standards
• Storing, moving, and managing materials
• Use of handheld scanners or on-board computers
• Follow warehouse systems and processes
• Potentially load/unload trailers
