Local company seeking a HR Business Partner!
Job Duties:
- Overall strategic planning for human resources
- Assist with recruiting and filling open positions
- Administer benefits and compensation plans
- Conducts onboarding for all new hires
- Consults with managers and supervisors, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Provides guidance and input on business units’ structure and workforce planning
- Performs a variety of administrative support tasks of HR department
- Assists in resolving complex employee relations issues
- Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Ensures all HRIS systems are optimized and end users are properly trained
- Provides day-to-day guidance, coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions with managers and supervisors
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity/retention
- Ensures all leave requests are properly documented
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
- Working knowledge of federal and state respective employment laws
- HR Certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Pay: $60,000+, depending on experience
