Responsibilities: As a Executive Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen’s daily operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and refine menu items that reflect our culinary philosophy.
- Supervising and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
- Assisting in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to achieve optimal financial results.
- Overseeing food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Leading by example with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Qualifications:
- Culinary experience in progressively responsible roles, including supervisory experience.
- Culinary degree or equivalent culinary training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
- Understanding of food cost control, portion management, and kitchen best practices.
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is a plus.
