Pay: $65,000+ (higher based on qualifications and experience level!)

Responsibilities:

Contribute technical competence in respective tasks of new product development, re-engineering and quality compliance activities throughout all stages of product development
Utilize SolidWorks software for designing and converting files
Assist in execution of engineering changes and product introduction
Maintain the Bill of Material files (new and existing)
Provide customer support as necessary
Provide support to the Production floor as required
Assist in the Quality area as needed
May assist in the developing of cost estimates, utilizing engineering packages (drawings, customer specifications, etc.)
Prepares PowerPoint presentations for meetings and/or other events
Effectively manage the assigned workload with appropriate supervision
Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to position
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures(5S)
Ensure compliance with and follow health, safety, security, and environmental practices

Qualifications:

Engineering or technical degree or currently working towards
Experience with metal fabrication and assembly preferred
Experience in 3D modeling in Solid Works desired
Ability to use measuring instruments, i.e. micrometer, calipers test sets, and gaging equipment
Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications and 3D models
Ability to interact with others in problem solving
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, tolerance, etc.
Ability to operate computer and working knowledge of typical office programs – i.e.
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
