Shift: 1st shift
Pay: $65,000+ (higher based on qualifications and experience level!)
Responsibilities:
- Contribute technical competence in respective tasks of new product development, re-engineering and quality compliance activities throughout all stages of product development
- Utilize SolidWorks software for designing and converting files
- Assist in execution of engineering changes and product introduction
- Maintain the Bill of Material files (new and existing)
- Provide customer support as necessary
- Provide support to the Production floor as required
- Assist in the Quality area as needed
- May assist in the developing of cost estimates, utilizing engineering packages (drawings, customer specifications, etc.)
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations for meetings and/or other events
- Effectively manage the assigned workload with appropriate supervision
- Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to position
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures(5S)
- Ensure compliance with and follow health, safety, security, and environmental practices
Qualifications:
- Engineering or technical degree or currently working towards
- Experience with metal fabrication and assembly preferred
- Experience in 3D modeling in Solid Works desired
- Ability to use measuring instruments, i.e. micrometer, calipers test sets, and gaging equipment
- Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications and 3D models
- Ability to interact with others in problem solving
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, tolerance, etc.
- Ability to operate computer and working knowledge of typical office programs – i.e.
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
