Local institution seeking a Procurement Specialist!
Job Duties:
- Plan and oversee projects in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage contracts with external stakeholders
- Assist with the implementation and management of contracts and agreements
- Coordinate and provide review, administration, and compliance activities for contracts
- Identify opportunities for operational and procurement process improvement
- Support contract review, acceptance, and compliance
- Designate resources to meet project goals and prepare budgets
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and manage project schedule and action plans
- Respond accordingly to partner inquiries
- Create and modify documents and communication plans with all stakeholders
- Review crisis response program initiatives to resolve inquiries from stakeholders and to provide follow up information on contracts, workshops, HR issues, and more
- Review other projects to inform stakeholders on new processes and policy changes
- Measure project performance and identify areas of improvement
- Manage internal meetings and conduct follow up as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in related field
- 5-7+ years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience in project management or contract management
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay: $70,000 – $85,000, depending on experience
