We are looking for an organized, self-motivated accountant with 2-5 construction industry experience. This position works closely with the Operations team and CFO on all projects so flexibility and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail are a must.

Job Duties

  • Manage all company accounting operations based on accounting principles
  • Preform monthly quarterly and year end accounting duties including closing processes, reconciliations, auditing and reporting
  • Audit and reconcile all accounts and financial documents and document accounting control procedures
  • Collect, analyze and summarize account information and publish financial statements
  • Prepare budget and financial forecasts process and prepare tax information, balance sheets, profit/loss statements etc.
  • Prepare special financial reports, analyze and summarize financial information
  • Substantiate financial transactions Insure company’s compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements by advising management on needed actions

Requirements

  • 4+ years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles
  • Strong QuickBooks and MS Office skills
  • Advanced degree in accounting
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • CPA or CMA preferred

Payroll Administrator / Full-Time

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our fast paced accounting department. The successful candidate must be organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented. The candidate should be able to work successfully in a high volume, highly transaction accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Sole responsibility for the preparation and processing of weekly payroll
  • Review payroll for all technicians through service module and GPS verification.
  • Verify overtime and emergency call time for technicians.
  • Enter and process manual time sheets for office personnel.
  • Review commissions for accuracy and maintain Excel spreadsheet for contracts and accessory sales.
  • Review and calculate payroll, print pay stubs and post payroll entries into the general ledger, including but not limited to payroll taxes, benefits, 401K, etc.
  • Weekly submission of ACH files, taxes, HSA files and 401 K files
  • Print and mail checks for child support payments.
  • Set up and maintenance of personnel files ensuring proper record retention of employment related documentation related to payroll, performance, benefit, and training; process claims for unemployment compensation; provide backup assistance for pre-employment, new hire and benefit enrollment activities.
  • Processing of Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
